The Directors of Service Offset Supplies Ltd and Apex Digital Graphics Ltd are pleased to announce an agreement has been reached for the acquisition by SOS of Apex’s CTP equipment sales, pre-press consumables and service divisions.
The purchase primarily incorporates the supply of Cron CTP equipment, service, Mitsubishi Polyester DPX plate consumables, Cron Blackwood plates and spare part support as well as Konica Minolta Production Print devices and follows on the back of the well-earned retirement of Apex Directors Bob Usher and Terry Bratt to whom SOS express our gratitude and wish all the very best for the future.
In order to ensure a smooth transition of business, a number of key Apex technical personnel will transfer across to SOS in order to maintain the high level of service and support which Apex customers currently enjoy across all levels including warranties and service contracts.
The Directors of SOS have issued a statement as follows:
“This acquisition is a perfect fit for SOS which means we will now be able to cater for each and every one of our customers’ needs. In addition to the new ranges of pre-press supplies and equipment, we can now offer additional service and support on a wide range of equipment.
In particular, the exclusive Cron CTP dealership is an exciting addition to our portfolio and we aim to maintain and grow the customer base in the UK.
We wish Bob & Terry a successful and fulfilling retirement and say farewell to two hugely respected figures in our printing industry.”
