COLOUR MATCH OF THE DAY is a two day event for anyone hoping to improve their colour consistency using one or more production devices – or simply to see the latest equipment in action.

SOS is teaming up with Konica Minolta, Roland DG, Vivid and Grafitec for this live event at Konica Minolta’s new state-of-the-art Client Engagement Centre in Houghton Regis, near Dunstable on February 5^th and 6^th 2025.

“Colour Match of the Day” will take place at Konica Minolta’s Client Engagement Centre in Houghton Regis, near Luton, on 5^th and 6^th February 2025. The event will include the one of the first European public showings of a brand new machine from Roland DG.

“Most printers are now producing using more than one print technology, so colour matching across devices is more important than ever,” says Ashley Fleming, Joint Managing Director at SOS. “As one of the few UK suppliers qualified to issue Fogra certification, we take accurate cross platform colour very seriously. Colour Match of the Day will show not only the best in print output, but it will also demonstrate how to keep those colours consistent, on uncoated stocks.”

Alongside Konica Minolta’s digital, label, and embellishment solutions, SOS will be showcasing two Roland 64-inch wide format printers. This event will include one of the first public demonstrations of the new TrueVIS XP-640 in the UK and EMEA, a landmark for users of eco solvent inks. This exciting new product features advanced high-speed data control technology, newly designed dual staggered print heads, and ejects finer ink droplets at a higher density and speed. It will be shown alongside the popular Roland TrueVIS LG640 which uses ECO-UV inks, staggered print heads, True Rich Colour and a wealth of user-friendly features representing the ultimate in professional UV print and cut.

The event will also feature equipment from Vivid, namely the award-winning Easymount 1600SH roll laminator. Graphtec will be represented by WID Laser cutting/engraving equipment.
